【摘要】:Wheelforceortorquetransducersareusedunderdynamictestconditions,andthemeasurementsaresubjecttomanyerrorsources.Thestaticcalibrationrecommendedbythepresentstandardcannoteliminateallerrorsources.Itssignificanceisinprovidinganaccuratecalibrationofthetransducerandtheassociatedelectronics,readout,andrecordingequipment.Calibrationresultmaybeusedtoeithermakemechanicalorelectronicadjustmentsuntilthereadoutagreeswiththecalibrationinput.Alternatively,calibrationcurvesortablesmaybepreparedtobeusedascorrectionstomeasuredresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecalibrationoftheforce(ortorque)transducerandassociatedinstrumentationofamountedtestwheelbyusingacalibrationplatform.1.2Thistestmethodisastaticcalibration,simulatingthetractionforcebetweenatireandthepavement.1.3Inthecaseofaforce-measuringsystem,theinstrumentationreadoutisdirectlyproportionaltothecalibrationforceinput.1.4Inthecaseofatorque-measuringsystem,theinstrumentationreadoutisameasureofthecalibrationforceinputandtheeffectivetireradius.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
