【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodcanbeusedincombinationwithothertestmethodsfortheselectionofaliningforsurfacesinfluegasdesulfurization(FGD)systemsthatwillbeexposedtohotunscrubbedfluegasortoscrubbedgasthathasbeenreheatedwellabovethewaterdewpoint.3.1.1Thistestmethoddoesnotevaluateorcorrelatetoareaswithinthescrubberorscrubbedgasstreamsattemperaturesatorbelowthewaterdewpoint.Thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluatethecombinedeffectsofheatandexposuretosulfuricaciduponaliningsystemasappliedtoacarbonsteelsubstrate.Itdoesnotproducethethermalgradientthroughtheliningthatmayexistinactualapplications.Actualliningperformancemayalsobeaffectedbyconcurrentphysicalormechanicaleffectsandotherchemicalsthatmaybepresentinthefluegas.Thistestmethodevaluatesmajorfailuremodesofliningsappliedtosquaretestpanelsthatarecycledfromroomtemperaturetoadesignatedelevatedtemperature.Therecommendedtesttemperaturesof200x00B0;F(93x00B0;C)and350x00B0;F(177x00B0;C)arebasedontypicalmaximumoperatingzonetemperaturesinfluegasdesulfurizationssystems.Othertemperaturesmaybeevaluatedasdesired.Cyclingtolowertemperatures,includingfreezing,maybeconsideredifapplicable.Thestandardacidconcentrationforalltestsis20%,recognizingthattheconcentrationwillquicklyrisetotheequilibriumattheselectedtesttemperature.1.1thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluatethesulfuricacidresistanceatelevatedtemperaturesofpolymerliningsappliedtocarbonsteelsubstratessubjecttosulfuricacidattack.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
