【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforsamplingandtestinguntreatedpapertobeusedasanelectricalinsulatororasaconstituentofacompositematerialusedforelectricalinsulatingpurposes.Untreatedpapersarethin,fibroussheetsnormallylaiddownfromawatersuspensionofpulpedfibers(usuallycellulosic),whichmaycontainvariousamountsofnonfibrousingredients,andwhicharecalendared,ifrequired,toobtaindesiredthicknessanddensity.Nevertheless,thesetestmethodsareapplicable,generallyalthoughnotinvariably,topapersformedbyothermeans,topapersmodified(duringorafterformation)byadditions,andtopapersgivensubsequentmechanicaltreatmentssuchascreping.Asanelectricalinsulatinganddielectricmaterial,paperisconsidered"untreated"untilitissubjectedtoamanufacturingprocesssuchasdrying,impregnation,orvarnishtreatment.Thetestmethodsgivenhereinweredevelopedspecificallyforpapershavingathicknessof0.75mm(0.030in.)orless.Anumberofthesetestmethodsarealsosuitableforuseonothermaterialssuchaspulpsorboards.RefertoTestMethodsD3376orMethodsD3394todeterminewhichtestsareapplicabletopulpsorelectricalinsulatingboards.Inthepaperindustry,someproductsinthicknessesoflessthan0.75mmaretermed"paperboard".Suchproductsareincludedwithinthescopeofthesemethods.Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletoflexiblefibrous-matmaterialsformedfromsuspensionsoffiberinfluidsotherthanwater.Thesematsmayhavethicknessesapproaching2mm,andmaycontainfibersthatarenatural,synthetic,organic,orinorganic;fillersthatarenatural,synthetic,organic,orinorganic;andflexiblepolymericbindermaterials.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:ThetestsforHolesandFeltHairInclusionsandtheStainTestforFinePores,havebeenremovedfromthiscompilationoftestmethods.ThesetestmethodswerespecifictogradesofcapacitorpaperformerlycoveredbySpecificationD1930,whichhasbeenwithdrawn.Note1-ThiscompilationoftestmethodsiscloselyrelatedtoIECPublication60554-2.NotalloftheindividualmethodsincludedhereinareincludedinIEC60554-2,norareallofthemethodsinIEC60554-2includedinthisstandard.Theindividualproceduresasdescribedinthetwostandardsareingeneralsufficientlyclosetoeachotherthatitisreasonabletoexpectthattestresultsobtainedbymostoftheproceduresspecifiedineitherstandardwillnotdiffersignificantly.However,beforeassumingthataprocedureinthesetestmethodsisexactlyequivalenttoanIEC60554-2procedure,thewrittenproceduresshouldbecomparedclosely,andifitseemsadvisable,testresultsbythetwoproceduresshouldbecompared.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See43.2.1,71.1,143.1,148.1and156.1forspecifichazards.
