【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationprimarilycoversglassfabricswovenfromx201C;Ex201D;electricalcontinuousglassfiberrovingsthatareintendedprimarilyasareinforcingmaterialinlaminatedplasticsforstructuraluse.1.2Thisspecificationspecifiestheterminology,definitions,generalrequirements,andphysicalrequirementsforwovenrovingglassfiberfabrics.Thisspecificationpermitstheapplicationofsizingmaterialstotheglassfiberrovingduringmanufacturethathelpsfacilitateweaving.Whenusedaspermittedinthisspecification,suchmaterialsarecompatiblewiththeresinmatrixasspecifiedinthecontractinginstrument.Note18212;Sizingmaterialsonglassfiberyarns,inmostcases,areremovedbyvariouscleaningproceduresasafirststageinpreparingafinishedfabric.Whentheseyarnsizingmaterialsareremovedduringacleaningprocedure,theyneednotbecompatiblewiththesubsequentresinmatrix.1.3Units8212;ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Note28212;ThisspecificationisoneofaseriestoprovideasubstituteforthefollowingMilitarySpecifications:MIL-Y-1140HYarn,Cord,Sleeving,Cloth,andTape-GlassMIL-C-9084CCloth,GlassFinishedforResinLaminatesMIL-C-19663CCloth,Glass,WovenRovingforPlasticLaminates
